Green Rider Team Event
The NYRCHA Green Rider Team Event is a chance to learn about reined cow horse events. You will have a team of coaches who will help you navigate the rules, point system, judging, patterns and the list goes on. Twelve riders will be broken up into teams of four. Each team of 4 will have their own coaching team. The morning activities will consist of understanding the reining pattern, working the flag and cow horse exercises. Lunch will be provided. After lunch you will get tuned up again for our late afternoon competition. This event is for the Green Rider, Rookie professional and 1K Riders Spectators are encouraged to attend. The cost to participate is $150 and includes a stall for the weekend.
NYRCHA Good To Be Green Cow Horse Show
Our Good To Be Green Classic is now a sanctioned show. Same fun though. At this year’s Good to Be Green show the high point Green Rider for the weekend will win a buckle.
Our Good to be Green Classic will have all the same classes as last year with the exception of our new Novice Youth Class
If riding in a Green Rider class you cannot cross enter into a fence class. If riding in a Walk Trot Class you cannot cross enter into a class where there is loping with the exception of the Ranch Horse Classes.
Our Stockman Challenge will be awarded on Saturdays (three ranch classes and one boxing or fence class highpoint rider) The daily drawing for entries will also continue this year.
Don’t forget to bring along your little cowboys or cowgirls for our Walk/Trot Track and Walk/Trot Box and our new Novice Youth Class. Helmets are a must for the little cowpokes!
Show Bill will be posted in a few months!
